Oh the children
So, I think that I have figured out kidlettes. They are great. If you make anything into a game or a "secret mission" they love it. Reide and I had to teach each class of kids something to do for the parents in the program tonight. We decided that it would be their "secret mission" that none of the other classes would know about. It worked out really well. These kids are so bright. they learned songs and words and actions and everything. And they are so darn cute! How could you not just love them? I am sad that tomorrow is the end of this amazing week, but I couldn't have asked for a better week to start off the summer.

PATTI! I'm happy to hear you're having fun...when do you come to the lower mainland?! and where are you when you're here!? I'll have to come visit you! Have fun this next week!
Hi Patti!!!!
It is so good to hear from you and that your week went well and that you are amusing the children...yes Jesus loves you! As I was reading your blogs I was remembering all the fun we had last summer...now you get to build on all our experience! I also had an amazing week in Tilley, AB, where I stayed at Rae's house. The boys' host fammily took us to the lake where we went tubing and kneeboarding! That was Monday, and we did it again yesterday. Oh the fringe benefits of summer team! Now we're at Erin's house in Tofield and looking forward to a great week of Fiesta!!! We spent a long time trying to make a cardboard roof with a hole in it stay on the roof this afternoon...all I can say is, the kids better appreciate it! It was kind of fun. Wow this comment is getting very long; I might as well have sent you an email! But that's OK... I hope you have another amazing great week this week!
love, karen
Oh kids! They're so often way too cute for words. Another thing that I used with my brothers when they were little when they needed to do something fast, I'd say: "Hurry, I'll time you." And they thought that was great :)
